Self-portrait- Trying out FireAlpaca

Tried out a free-to-download program called FireAlpaca. Considering I haven't drawn digitally for ages it was pretty easy to use with my tablet. I might colour it in and maybe this can get me back into doing more stuff digitally.

Experimenting with my copic markers...

I coloured her in! This is the first time I've used my copics properly so it's still a bit streaky but I like it. I really need some more colours though. Perhaps some pastels. These are the ciao ones so they have a wedge nib and a nice brush one. I prefer the brush tip but I guess the wedge one has uses.

Bear-chan has arrived!

HELLO!!!

Thanks for adding me Cassie-chan! Hopefully this will help me stop procrastinating and get some arty stuff done. Here's a gratuitous lolita girl for all your needs.

Inktense Pencils

Photos taken as I was going along. For anyone who hasn't worked with Inktense colours I suggest having a go. They are more vivid colours than the watercolour pencils, and they dry permanent so if you make a mistake it will be stuck there. But I think it is also good to have flaws in your work, we can't all be perfect. The only thing about the Inktense is they aren't that cheap. I paid $35.95 AUD for a pack of 12, but worth the investment I think.

Because it was just to test out my new pencils I drew the original picture in pen, hence the extra lines.
